STAR WARS: Episode 7 (All-Time #1 opening box office.) (1 Viewer)

If you prepaid for your tickets, you guys know you can use your phones or print them from your emails?
not at my theater....they had kiosks inside the theater where you had to stick your CC in.
Oh you go to tommyboy's BIL theater?! That's stupid, how much could that scanner possibly cost?! I wish businesses would keep up with the times.
AMC theater with tickets purchased from Fandango and they are requiring pick up with CC. I'm thinking a lot of the major theaters are doing this to cut down on scalpers.

Some dooshnizzle on espn radio just let loose what i would assume is a decent spoiler of the movie. He should be throat punched. I guess i go to full media lock down for the next 25 hours.
I read that there a campaign to spoil the movie by hard core Star Wars fans disappointed by the movie.

Harrison Ford's plea.

Walked in about 45 minutes before show time. Theater was about 2/3 full. We have decent seats but it's a reminder why I almost never see movies in the theater that have kids in attendance

Then why are you seeing a kids movie on opening night?

So I had tickets to the midnight show.... I just snuck into the 10:30 show.... It's not even half full.

Granted every theater is Star Wars but i was expecting more

Have been sitting in the theatre about an hour now

Movie starts in about 2 hours

Starting to fill up
:lmao: Oh come on
i don't understand why not go to a theater where you can reserve a seat?
Saw it in IMAX without reserved seats. Had one person in our party show up at 4:30 for the 7pm showing. By 5pm she said it was 75% full. I sat next to the guy who was the first one in the theater. Had been sitting there since 1pm.

I just laid out the main spoiler plot points in my last post in the spoiler thread just now.

DO NOT GO IN THERE and ruin it for yourself!!!

Enjoyable movie and better than the prequels but I didn't find it to be anything extraordinary. Probably not worth multiple theatre viewings

Cineopolis, leather back seats, limited number of people, booze in the lobby, assigned seats before you get there, $20 a ticket you better believe it. I'm expecting a foot massage.

I am so happy about having reserved seats for IMAX. I will get to the theater 9:30 tomorrow morning, get my popcorn and coke Icee and go sit down without having to worry about finding a seat.

Pretty awesome.

This thread has been mind blowing for me. Apparently the fancy, reserved seat, cocktails, waitress service movie theaters are all over the place, but there's nothing like this anywhere close to my house. The best I've found is a single theater an hour from my house that has reserved stadium seating up front.

This is infuriating. I would gladly pay 40 or 50 bucks a ticket for a high end theater with no riff raff and tons of amenities. Why doesn't this exist here? FML

And you live in NYC, the alleged cultural center of America?

So how was the attendance?

I had tickets to the 12 showing but was able to sneak into the 10 showing because it was only 1/3 full......
