Gio with the start against Man City.
Back to back starts inside of a week seems to indicate the coach is convinced he is finally healthy.

Pulisic with an assist but, as with Gallagher a couple weeks ago it was all about Havertz' shot. But he did well to control, create space and get it over to Kai for the wonderstrike.
Pulisic recognized the danger far too late. He does not have the defensive instincts required for a role like this IMO
Weston starts as well today.
Looks like he scored a late goal. Haven’t seen the video yet.Weston starts as well today.

Josh Sargent is starting for Norwich today. - But so is Jonathan Tomkinson - the U.S. U-23 eligible central defender. It is his first team debut. Congratulations to him. What a big moment. He had been the club's U-23 captain

Is it too late for Auston Trusty to get a call? How mobile is he?
24, 6'3", exceptional rating at Whoscored, playing for a team similar to a non-elite MLS playoff team.
Specifically listed as a not-good passer though, so maybe more of a Zimm backup than a partner.
Pretty good Iran preview on Reddit- https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/ycamtx/team_preview_iran_2022_world_cup_532/
Cohen...that's a lot of goals to give up. Even to psg.
I am not a lawyer but this can't possibly succeed in court can it?

FCD Academy player sues FC Dallas for $40 million - 3rd Degree
The family of an FC Dallas Academy player, Kris Kelley, is suing FC Dallas, MLS, FC Dallas Youth, and FC Dallas VP of Youth Soccer Chris Hayden for $40,000,000.3rddegree.net
TL/DR:
Dallas punished the player for being late by playing him down an age group.
The player suffered a major ankle injury in the match in which he was forced to play down an age group.
This punishment equates to gross negligence, and FC Dallas should pay $40m for the impact to the player's career.
How was he at any greater risk of injury playing with younger kids?
Maybe if he was forced to play with an older, physically stronger age group you would have an argument.
I hate lawsuits like these but if I'm playing armchair lawyer, I could see arguing that playing a player against inexperienced players could put the player at an unnecessary risk. I think it's hogwash and they are looking to cash in on an unfortunate event, but I could see this argument working if it was something crazy like forcing Messi to play with the PSG U17 team or some other extreme example that would never happen.

I this argument works out then the being asked to play up an age group lawsuit will surely follow at some point.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
The thought of a McKennie, Joelinton, and Bruno Guimarães midfield has me feeling very jumpy&quo.Several Premier League clubs have scouted McKennie, including Newcastle,
Furthermore, there is still time for the centre-back [Trusty] to make a name for himself at this winter’s World Cup with his late surge in form making him a genuine option for United States manager Gregg Berhalter.
“It’s definitely not too late,” Blues manager John Eustace told the press last weekend. “I have spoken to the US manager, I have told him how well he is doing, it’s important that they see that and understand he is playing in one of the toughest leagues in Europe, week in week out against top, top players. He should be on that plane definitely.
"I think they have watched a couple of games on video but I have told them to come and get the scouts out and watch him play. He should come and watch him himself. He is a special talent and he is going to be a top player going forward.”
He has featured twice in USMNT training camps - most recently in January - meaning he is familiar with the setup even if he has not yet managed to get playing time. He was, however, on the bench for a December friendly victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I bet he gets called into camp.“When his loan was first announced he was very much an unknown quantity,” says Brian ****, Birmingham City writer for the Birmingham Mail. “You didn’t have to look too hard to establish the fact he’d been doing well in MLS but how that would translate to the English Championship was unclear.
“Thirteen games in and it’s safe to say his transition has been seamless. On the pitch it’s already difficult to imagine a Blues defence without him, off it he has spoken about how he has settled into the area and the support he has received from inside and outside the club.”
Trusty has been operating, predominantly, as the left-sided centre-back in a back three. He has played every single minute available, making a strong impression on all-comers to St Andrews.
“He’s played every minute of every game so far, predominantly as the left sided centre back in a defensive three,” says ****. “That has harnessed his athleticism, he doesn’t look like a flyer but he covers the ground very quickly – and his reading of the game.
“He’s strong in the tackle and good in the air in both boxes. He hadn’t had too many chances to score from attacking set-pieces but he looked unstoppable against Bristol City, getting up first and staying up highest and applying good power and accuracy to his attempts on goal. He’s certainly demonstrated all of the physical tools to cope in the Championship and there will come a time when he needs to be tested at the next level up.”
Can't find info on this any where else. Something is off here, they say match like it was an actual game but from what I found he is 2006 birth year U17. If so how would MLS Next or whatever showcase they could have been at allow a U17 by age to play U16 or U15? If it wasn't just a match but an inter club scrimmage I would think you would have a hard time proving that a clubs U16 MLS Next team is such a big step down from their U17 MLS next Team that he plays for.I am not a lawyer but this can't possibly succeed in court can it?

Every time I think he should just be done with Chelsea, he ends up playing a game and looking like their most dangerous attacker. Of course sofa had him the lowest rated guy since he lost 9 of 12 duels, so what do I know. This would be exciting.....or a disaster if they drop...

A Jamie Carragher prediction could ring true as Leeds United are reportedly plotting a move for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic.
Chelsea parted with just under £58million to sign Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019. He spent the remainder of the 2018-19 season back on loan at Dortmund before linking up with the Chelsea squad that summer.
He has shown glimpses of his talent in the famous blue shirt but hasn’t often done it for a prolonged period.
This season, Pulisic has found the net once in 10 matches. That goal came in Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over relegation-threatened Wolves on October 8.
Pulisic is now on his third Chelsea manager in the form of Graham Potter. The English tactician has shown he is able to get the best out of players from his time at Brighton.
There is the potential for Potter to do this with Pulisic. However, reports are now suggesting the attacker will not stick around in west London long enough for Potter to work his magic.
According to Goal’s live transfer blog (October 27, at 14:45), which cites reports in Spain, Pulisic has become a target for Leeds.
Goal state one of the reasons he could leave Chelsea is that he is sometimes being used as a wing-back by Potter. Pulisic would rather operate further forward to help him get among the goals.
The USA international also wants to ‘reignite his career’, which may only happen if he secures a transfer elsewhere.
I've never understood how they even score those things. I watched the last Chelsea game. I distinctly remember Christian getting the ball, turning and moving upfield past 1 or 2 defenders and then passing it on to another player half a dozen times at least. The official scoring has him at 1 successful dribble. It just doesn't make sense to me. It isn't just Pulisic either. Kovacic routinely takes the ball past multiple defenders in the games and he did again against Salzburg. It show him as having only 1 successful dribble too.Every time I think he should just be done with Chelsea, he ends up playing a game and looking like their most dangerous attacker. I meant the WC camp. Can they call in more than they're taking?
I was just assuming -- you're probably way more tuned in to the details than I am on that one.I think there is only about a week between when the leagues have their last game and when the WC starts. I had assumed that it would be the final roster of 26 that would have a few days prep together but I may be wrong. Maybe alternates will be called as well.

Berhalter basically removed Miazga, Djordje, and Vasquez from consideration for the World Cup by not calling them into this warm up camp which seemed a bit weird to me given how iffy those positions are.
We heard all about Brooks, but I didn't know this....“We didn’t see eye to eye on a few things in the past and that has affected me from being called up. But it is what it is,” Miazga said. “I’d like to say few things but I’ll refrain from that. You guys will eventually find out. I’m always ready to play for the national team. But I don’t make the decisions. There’s one guy that makes the decisions and that’s how it goes.”
