WR CeeDee Lamb, DAL (4 Viewers)

I've moved him up to WR2 over Jefferson. (Chase obviously being #1).

2024 17 game pace: 114 receptions, 1353 yards, 7 TD's. Cooper Rush started 7 or 8 games and threw more passes on the year than Dak.

One could certainly argue Pickens decreases the insane volume Lamb has been getting. But Chase has Higgins and still had 175 targets last year.
Dallas's running backs don't inspire confidence. The Defense was dreadful last year. They've made some improvements for sure, but I think we can still expect Dallas to throw the football a ton in 2025.

I have Lamb firmly #2 over JJ. Folks forget how insane his 2023 was, and he had a still pretty competent Cooks across from him. 84 targets, 54/657/8

If Chase is gone, it’s CeeDee for me.

Don’t disagree, unless the Pickens switch goes on ultra-bright it should be a banner year for CD….especially if Parson’s gets moved.

Just pulled the #2 pick in one league.

Pulling the trigger on CD without hesitation.

This team is going to throw, throw, throw and the presence of Pickens will only help Lamb.

had a really good game but I am sure people who own him like me wanted him to haul in all those passes he dropped too
He was the best player on the field and still should have been better.

Drops happen even to the best players.* Lamb is still easily a top 3 player in the league.

*Unless you're Fitzgerald.
I surely hope you mean WR, and even still, THAT is debatable
He’s no AJ Brown

Yes, top 3 WR - I edited it.

But, isn't the consensus Chase, JJ, and Lamb in some order? That seems objectively reasonable though I recognize the Eagles logo by your name so I may be wading into unchartered territory. :)

In a year or two we may be discussing Nabers, Brian Thomas, etc. but to me there is a clear top 3 currently for NFL WRs.

I think this was an extremely encouraging game for Lamb owners. He got open at will, against one of the best secondaries in the NFL, and put up 18 points, despite leaving a ton on the table. This is sustainable volume to me, and the opponents only get easier. Also was nice to see Dak look a lot like 2023 Dak.
Yep.

I mean, AJ did catch all of his targets last night so apparently he's clearly superior.

The top 2 are for sure locks, and if we are talking FF, yeah #3-7 this year seemed to be Dealers Choice

4 of those guys went to LSU and all are from Louisiana. That's just nuts.

Never stop hating, my friend.

Lamb is clearly a top 3 wide receiver currently. I have never heard any unbiased fan try to argue otherwise. In fact, many rankings have Lamb over JJ this year...

Sure. Fans. Me.

These guys do this for a living

I love Dallas as much as I love getting the flu. But even I will admit Lamb is one hell of a WR. He looks like he's going to have a monster year. Now Pickens...there might be some over hype happening going into this season. He didn't look overly impressive to me.
he almost held on to the ball on that DPI and he could have had a TD if Dak didn't throw it late

Then I, and probably 80% of all other players, would choose Lamb without hesitation.

*I dislike the Cowboys and Eagles nearly equally so this is not some anti-Eagles position.

Yeah the stats won't reflect it but I thought both Pickens and Dak played well (other than Dak trying to kill his tight ends).

Dallas really could have won this game. Pickens, while he wasn't phenomenal by catching one ball for 8 yards, was a problem for the Eagles downfield.

In Pickens defense, he had Quinyon Mitchell on him most of the game. That's probably his toughest draw of the season until Surtain in week 8. Probably would also feel differently if that long PI that led to Javonte's 2nd TD was a catch and not just PI.

He disappointed me last night with the plays that he didn't make in wet conditions.

Still puts 14.5 points on the board in half-PPR. That's why I love Ceedee Lamb. That's what a stud fantasy WR does.

IMO, Chase and Jefferson are the top tier, Lamb is next in a tier by himself, then another tier that probably has about 6 wrs that you could make a case for being the 4th best in the league.

Players for the #Cowboys are off today and through the weekend, meaning any in-house work is optional. One player who was in the facility?

CeeDee Lamb.

I’m told he spent quite a bit of time outside on the Jugs machine this afternoon after a career-high four drops on Thursday.
Too bad he didn’t spend more time on the jugs machine earlier this week
I’ll be honest I was surprised with the stat he has the most drops since 2020.

He’s still a really good/borderline great WR. Not at all the same player but TO had issues w drops throughout his career but was so great w the YAC and scoring touchdowns you forgot about it.

Its sort of bullsh!t stat tho. Right now after last nights game, jamarr chase is at 36, ceedee would be at 37 if those two drops were listed as such. And Chase was drafted in 2021.

I also don’t consider that last one a drop. Yes, it hit his hands - it was also a 100 mph fastball that he had to lay out horizontally to attempt a grab. Dak puts the slightest amount of touch on that pass and maybe there’s a better result. Woulda been a heck of a catch.

His target share was what I cared about for FF.

Sure for me I was just surprised bc I thought he was super sure handed.

Even paid media types and it’s hyperbolic “CD catches that ball 99/100 times” - talking about the 30-40 yard post he just miffed bc I was like “ok this guy is good but 99% catch rate seems…exaggerated”

Every Eagles matchup I’ve seen the dude had a vacuum for hands fwiw
