WR Ja'Marr Chase, CIN (3 Viewers)

This guy is going ultra insano mode and people just take it for granted.

In the time it took me to walk across the street he scored another 70-yard TD, just automatically.

No way. I think everybody is just stunned a bit by the total. It’s just not a surprise because you know he’s got it in him. And he makes it look easy with Burrow.

I guess maybe you’re right in a way. I roster him in dynasty and took him for granted, but he’s already helped win me one ship in that league. Now my jaw is on the floor after seeing tonight.

Pay him. He’s good. Price just keeps going up.

Oh, can you imagine if Zac Taylor force fed him the football? I mean, every week would be a thirty burger.

This guy was WR5 or 6 on KTC after the unsportsmanlike penalty he got when complaining about a hip drop tackle. Some fools were complaining about his hold-in and attitude. He was actually st around 8700 (or close) on KTC, whose values end at a max of 9999.

Dude is at 10,000 tonight. Holy ****.

eta* that last bit was hyperbole. He’s not at 10000. He should be.

Ja'Marr Chase caught 11 of 17 targets for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns in Week 10 against the Ravens.

Chase finished with 100+ yards and 1+ TD against both split-safety shells (6 receptions, 145 yards, 2 TD) and single-high coverage (5 receptions, 119 yards, TD), becoming the first receiver to accomplish this feat in a game since Tyreek Hill in Week 11, 2018 against the Rams.

*264 receiving yards

What is wild is in my league the guy playing against Chase has Burrow and the matchup is still a dead split 50-50 projection. What a game congrats to his owners.

Have we changed our pre-season take that Chase doesn't have the attributes/skills to match JJ, Lamb, and a couple of others?

I've been on the wrong side of his blowup games in the past, so it's verrrrry satisfying to have him rostered this year.

It baffled me when I saw these takes. I have receipts in this thread going back years with belief in his abilities. I saw it since high school. Cliche, but he just has "it".

The Bengals start slowly every year and that does matter for fantasy teams. And he's way better with Burrow than without, and Burrow's availability is sometimes in question. Which is why I had Hill, Lamb, Jefferson and St. Brown ahead of him. But I'd still make him a first-round pick. He's just too good not to be.

Hi, had him as the number two overall pack until about August when the consensus swayed me to start taking over him

Interestingly, enough now, I am reading all over the place. That lamb is a poor route. I never came across that in the preseason.

Wut?

It wasn’t some huge knock or claims that he wasn’t a first round, just that he didn’t have the elite tools like some of the other wide receivers
Perhaps I’m blind, but he seems pretty darned elite to me.
I agree with you. I'm more of a results guy. Some of the other FBGs are metrics and measurable guys.

Everybody who got Chase’d didn’t have Lamar ready to return the favor, did they?

I had Chase at 55.40 and got Lamar’d in return for 40. My game is still on, as they say.

Nope. Played the Lamar owner LAST week, thank god. But I do have Burrow AND Chase, so sitting good right about now. I'm superstitious, though, so I'm not counting my opponent out at all.

Learned my lesson last year when I had DJ Moore drop like 50 points on a Thursday game and then I ended up losing as the rest of my roster didn't show up the following Sunday.

Jefferson or Chase ROS? Keeping in mind JJ already has had his bye and Chase has his next week.

I like Jefferson ROS, he has a much softer schedule than Chase. You could argue Jefferson has a plus matchup in all his remaining games. Chase has tough matchups with Chargers, Steelers x 2, Broncos + a bye. With that being said, they both might be matchup proof.

Jefferson: Titans, Bears, Cards, Falcons, Bears, Seahawks, Packers, Lions (week 18)

Chase: Chargers, Bye, Steelers, Cowboys, Titans, Browns, Broncos, Steelers (week 18)

The post above had me thinking. I have JJ and I had a choice during the draft between the 2. It’s came down to JJ or JC. I went with JJ for the fact that I never had him on my team before. I would without any doubt take Chase now. He leads the league in Catches, Yards, and TDs. More importantly it’s his QB that makes him the better choice.

I think he had 14 catches last night? And he could've had 30, dude just gets open on every single play it seems. Best WR in the league right now

He was a little too good last night. Got me over the top and into the playoffs in one league. Bounced me in two others.

Guy is amazing
