Week 8 QB Status
# of QBs starting their games, not necessarily total on roster
A lot less 0 QB teams this week since there's no bye week

0 QB: 18
1 QB: 484
2 QB: 1601
3 QB: 769
4 QB: 95
5 QB: 20
6 QB: 1
7 QB: 1

Rooster 101347 is our last remaining Rodgers/Richardson (and no one else) team. Godspeed.

Looks like I'm sitting on 111.95 after the 1pm games. I'm afraid the cut line will likely be a lot higher than it was last week. :frown:

Quick math gives me over 140 with a few guys left, including nearly all of Mahomes's points. McManus, Dotson, Diontae, Kincaid and Kamara leading the way. Can't even use London's 11.5.

155.5 after the early games with Walker and Roschon Johnson (-5.8), Santos -7, and Bears D (-6)

We'll see where this all falls out...

I guesstimate the CMC TD just now puts me in the 160s.. not much going after the 4pm games though - just Lions/Chargers defense minus 5 and Santos minus 8.

Quizzomatic is down as I am at the Devils game right now.

I'm looking good to make it through week 8, so looking ahead to week 9...

Of currently-alive teams, counting only byes and season-ending injuries (so not Daniel Jones, Justin Fields, Darren Waller, etc.) and any unspent dollars (93% spend all $250, 7% spent $248-249, and 0.3% left $3+ unspent):
  • 10% will have $89 or more dead money
  • An additional 20% (it's a 30% cutline week) would have $69-88 dead money.
  • The median is $54 dead money
  • I only expect to have $34 dead money (yay!)
I will try to update this late next week with 1/ only the teams that survived this week, 2/ updated to include players expected to be out week 9 but not with season-ending injuries, 3/ hopefully accurately reflecting any bye week changes for players being traded, and possibly 4/ other players who aren't expected to play because they are FAs, second-string QBs, etc.

It could be that the dead money amounts drop because those teams with lots of dead money this week (due to season-ending injuries) are more likely to get eliminated.

So I guesstimate I am at about 179.5 or so after 4pm. Santos has to beat 8 to count. Chargers/Lions have to beat 5 to count.

That should do.

Mixon and Hopkins only bumped me back up 10 points. Still comfortable at about 152 with St. Brown, Santos and whichever Defense scores more points between Lions and Chargers.

I'm at 99, still have a few players to go - Goff, K Allen, D.Moore, Laporta, Dicker, Chargers, lions that could/should count, and hopefully get me above the cutline.

This could be my week to bounce....

Mobile Version of Quizzomatic had me too high by a few points but still 36 above the cutline. Good luck to those of you sweating The Turk.

I want to guess that the cut line won't move as much as usual with Bears and Raiders involved but time will tell.

I've got Goff, Gibbs, LaPorta and Lions D going Monday night, and I'm going to need them.

120.75 + Goff - 4.65 [Pickett injury] + Gibbs - 5.8 + LaPorta - 1.9 [Waller injury] + Lions D - 9.

On paper (using player averages) I'm good...and Goff is better at home...so I think I'm looking at 165-175, but its going to be tight.

The real problem....assuming I get past this week...is that the Lions are on bye next week and Pickett his ribs. (Rodgers, Goff, Pickett).

Looks like I'm sitting on 109.55 after the 1pm games. I'm afraid the cut line will likely be a lot higher than it was last week. :frown:
Seems like a high scoring week. Maybe somewhere around 184?
I'm guessing the cut line will probalby be somewhere around 150.

I need a big kicker score in the 8pm game to have a chance, unless Joshua Palmer puts up around 20 points. (I have both kickers -1, and Palmer - 9.8)

You got your wish!

I have the cutline at 143.9 after tonight, but I'm usually off by a tiny bit.
Looks like I’ll be about 1.5 or 2 points below the cut heading into Monday night but barring an injury, I should be okay as I have Goff (-4.65) and LaPorta and Reynolds (-10.6, -10.9).

Just looking for about 250 yards and a touchdown from Goff. Seeing the QB bloodbath lately, I’m not going to interfere with the Fantasy Gods and act like I’m comfortable.

Made it to the finals twice and finished 9th once. Concerned greatly about a Turk visit tomorrow. Finished at 149.75. Mahomes 12 with single figure scoring from PK and DST led to my potential demise.
