Music Draft - Rolling Stone Greatest 500 Songs Garbage List - Now with unhealthy regional pork-stuffs! (1 Viewer)

It doesn’t impact me either way but I say no more skipping for the rest of the draft.  Sometimes there’s only like two or three songs in a group, skipping over someone could be a big disadvantage.

So looks like Tim is locked into Bad and Boujee (it’s already on the spreadsheet for him). Guess that means I’m up. I’ll be nice to Simey and Krista and select the following so they don’t have to (plus it fits well on my list).

#167 - Lose Yourself - Eminem

Mom’s spaghetti

I would have been OK with this, but as you mentioned it would have stood out on my mix, so I appreciate your kindness.  :)

I understand the sentiment but don't like mid-round changes like this, as it favors those who've gone and penalizes those who haven't.  That's why when we paused the clock I made sure it was at the top of the order.

Edit to be more clear:  I'm fine not to skip someone for "timing out" - i.e., not having a clock over the weekend - but someone like moops who is gone for the weekend and asked to be skipped can be.

Yeah high school fatguy would murder me for passing on it just now for the Everly Brothers but it really didn’t fit with the vibe of my mix.  After the Gold Rush was my most-played album for about a year or two of my life, so great.
I figured you passed it by cause it's not a sing-along song.

This seems wise.

I was making rule change suggestions for the next choose-from-a-finite-group-of-songs draft.

I Will Always Love You - Whitney (94)

#### the Police - NWA (190)

Something awesome about these two songs being picked back to back

Also, people are given the option to leave picks with someone.  If someone says to skip them, they don't really care what they end up with, and some aren't really fond of what is left.

It will all be revealed shortly.    I'm actually going to end up with Happy Greens in every grouping!  I did want After The Gold Rush, though.  Nice pick.
There are good songs left in that grouping that I just chose from, and I like both songs left in our final grouping. 🤙

I've updated the first post I think with all the playlists, but if I missed someone while quickly catching up the past couple of days, please let me know.

@Uruk-Hai, I'm putting together cos's playlist.  Would you like me to cobble yours together, too, since you don't have Spotify?  If so, just send me the order you want the songs in.

Do the playlist need to be in the order that we drafted the songs in, or can we make our own flow of it?

Okay, then. Having a tough time deciding. It's just a draft. So I'll go

19.19 - Azealia Banks - 212 (485) - 2011

I was in the 2-1-2

I am super-excited to get this happiest of Happy Greens and also to add another woman to my playlist.  I think I've taken more women in this draft than any other.  That probably means like four of them, but it's a start!  (I probably should have kept a list of my picks.)

Big Mama Thornton - Hound Dog  (#318)
