It appears you are indeed still lying. Do you think this helps when you bring about a legitimate point?

1. It's ONE person, not "some democrats" - flat lie on your part and an obvious attempt at misinformation. It's crap like this that taints literally anything you say because it's such a pattern, and you do at times bring good points to the table

2. She CLEARLY says she sees the opportunity for capital punishment as a bargaining tool to get a plea. It's weak, no context and no nuance mirepresentations like that which beg the question: are you unable to comprehend what she CLEARLY wrote or did you comprehend it and purposely mislead, especially by suggesting it's democrats rather than one person - that one person providing clear context.

So yeah, please stop lying and stop purposefully misrepresenting.

They are liars and deserve to be called out as such until/unless they want to have the decency and simple courage to well, not repeatedly lie - sometimes straight up flat falsehoods, sometimes purposeful exaggeration, often misinformation and purposefully excision of important points of context that literally result in the overall statement being well, a lie.

I believe part of the problem is “some.”  That means more than one (generally more than two.) 

Also, Brianna Wu is a gamer who as far as I know has never been elected to public office and has zero backing from the party, but is running a campaign for the House on Twitch.  

So yes, one Democrat (registered, not elected) probably wants the death penalty for Manafort. Probably many do.  But that’s virtually meaningless.  Many Republican voters want a white ethno-state.  Many Independent voters want to remove our lizard people overlords and take back our planet.

If Manafort were convicted of Treason - which was the premise - do you think the death penalty would be an appropriate punishment for someone who is found guilty of treason?

I am not up on my penal code, but I believe that treason is a capital offense, which could subject someone to the death penalty.

Or, are you one of those people who think the death penalty is only for "bad"  (wink, wink) people, and not "good" people who commit treason*?

*I am not suggesting Manafort committed treason, but in the example you cited, that was the premise of the death penalty, that he was charged and convicted of treason.  There was no suggestion of the death penalty for the crimes of which he has been charged.

Nice turn of phrase in Franklin Foer's piece at The Atlantic today. Maybe there's no direct linkage with Trump but Manafort and Gates were clearly very comfortable with skimming techniques and attitudes they picked up in eastern Europe and were importing it here. 

Our political corruption in this country has long been baked in and legitimized but electing the Trump Gang gave rise to a whole new style and scope of graft. I don't think we've even seen the tip of the iceberg yet.
