ESPN reports the NFL is closely monitoring Alvin Kamara's legal situation, but that there's "no firm timeline on a decision on discipline."
League sources shared with ESPN that "the feeling is that Kamara could be suspended, but nothing is firm and much could depend on the findings of the case." Kamara's court case, currently set for August 1st, has already been postponed twice, prolonging any disciplinary decision the league is likely to come to. It was reported by Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio in June that Kamara is "bracing for a suspension of at least six games." Currently going around the third round of fantasy drafts, Kamara is a risky pick at this point in the season. Veteran Mark Ingram could carry some RB2 upside if Kamara is suspended, but the team is also reportedly looking to add another back before the start of the season.
