)..Thanks IHEARTFF. I agree about the RB's, even though I did give them some serious consideration they aren't the Raiders biggest need and if this mock did go 4 rounds I feel like I could get one there if I really wanted one. Trent Murphy was the highest rated player left on my board. I had him rated as the 43rd player on my board so I was very happy to land him at pick #67 and it happned to coincide with a huge need for the Raiders.Raiders are having a great draft.
The thing about RBs is, well, they're kinda not valuable anymore. Also, in a draft this deep, it would be a mistake to take one in the 2nd round, anyway. And there are like 7-8 good ones to choose from. I can see them going in bunches in rounds 3-5.
Lacy won Rookie of the Year, he was deemed more valuable than any other rookie at any other position (despite Keenan Allen having a Rookie of the Year-worthy season in many other years). Bernard was an integral part of the offense and played a big role in a playoff season.Raiders are having a great draft.

How many of those 87 players were rookies that could have been taken instead of Lacy? You are changing the boundaries of the discussion to make your point. No, I don't think Lacy would. Advanced NFL stats had 87 players worth more EPA than LeSean McCoy, who was easily the most valued RB last year. There were 20 players with more WPA than McCoy. And that's the most valuable RB in the league. Lacy is way less valuable.
Adams could be a star. He and Demaryius Thomas could be impossible to cover. If you're going to run 3 wide sets, you need more than 2 WRs on the roster. I doubt they'll re-sign Decker. Adams is a red zone terror and might even be an eventual upgrade to what Decker was. Will format in a minute...
Broncos take
2. 63 - Davante Adams, WR -Fresno St
I was trying to decide between Cooks and Adams and an earlier pick made it easy for me.
good choice hereThe New England Patriots select Troy Niklas with their 2nd round pick.
Obvious choice for the Patriots filling a need with Gronk's health concerns and Hernandez's mental concerns.
Incredible value here. Love this guy and IMO it is who Jet should have picked for the Eagles instead of Cooks. Philly needs sizeWill format in a minute...

Don't worry about it at all.Guys, I'm so very sorry about yesterday. My biggest client (Herr Foods) had a minor meltdown yesterday and I was there until 8:00 cleaning up my vendor's mistake.
He was the guy that I was trying to trade for with the 2015 pick. Now I need to consider the idea that since I got him late that I could still use that 1st to take a guy that I would have taken at the 2.63 spot had Adams been the earlier pick. Hmmmm.... :chinscratch:Incredible value here. Love this guy and IMO it is who Jet should have picked for the Eagles instead of Cooks. Philly needs sizeWill format in a minute...

figured it was something serious for you to miss you pick.Guys, I'm so very sorry about yesterday. My biggest client (Herr Foods) had a minor meltdown yesterday and I was there until 8:00 cleaning up my vendor's mistake.
Nottingham? Just down the road...Ya makes me wish I took a cb in the first for the PatriotsGood DEs on the board. DTs too.

If this was the actual Jets draft I would be very happy....would love to grab a TE but if the value isn't there I could live with Cumberland one more year...hopefully they add a FA as well - great job and another 3rd to boot....Jets should be very strong the next few years if these picks pan out. With the 69th pick in the draft the New York Jets select:
RB Carlos Hyde - Ohio State
How would defenses like to tackle Chris Ivory and Hyde 30 times a game? I wanted the ND TE here, but those damn Pats beat me to him. Jets need offenisve playmakers and Hyde is the best all around back in this class. Rex will love him.
That and he was horrible against the Badgers in the Cap One bowl. Granted that's the only game I really watched SC this year but he was invisible in that game. I would jump off a bridge (not really) if these were the Packers 1st 2 picks....yuck.not of fan of kelcy for the pack. most project him for a 4-3 d, not a 3-4d. Imho, Jones is a better widebody dtackle in a 3-4 defAndy,
I wanted the Packers to select Kelcy Quarles, DT South Carolina at pick 53. Can you update and fix the draft?
Thanks - I did not want Daquon Jones.. I was stuck in a meeting at work....
Thanks,
Brewtown
BOOM3.72 - Minnesota Vikings - Zach Mettenberger, QB - LSU
I wasn't all that interested in him at first but the more I read the more I like his chances working with Norv Turner. He seems like an Aikman or Flacco style QB that would really mesh with the Turner style.
Good article here.
It would be great if they could bring Cassel back for one more year (can't believe I'm saying that) and let Mettenberger's knee and ability develop one more year before he takes over.
I don't know if he'll turn out OK, but I think he has as much upside as anyone else in this draft and you won't need a 1st to bring him in. If a team is planning on drafting a QB, they may as well take this guy in the 2nd/3rd and a good player in the 1st.BOOM3.72 - Minnesota Vikings - Zach Mettenberger, QB - LSU

Whichever team gets this kid in the 3rd is going to be very happy. Minnesota is a great fit for him. Ease in by leaning on ADP.
I love the Jets picks so far. Good jobWith the 69th pick in the draft the New York Jets select:

I think you are doing well. All 3 fill needs and look to be starters, and they were bpa at their position.Any thoughts on what I've done in Bills draft?
1.09 - Eric Ebron TE - North Carolina
2.09 - Antonio Richardson OT - Tennessee
3.09 - Jimmy Ward S - Northern Illinois
I thought there was great value in the 2nd and 3rd round picks. Richardson could easily be a first rounder as we move closer to draft day. Obviously, there is some concern with consistency with him, but hopefully we can get that ironed out. He fills a major hole at RT for us.
Ebron serves to add a physical weapon for EJ Manuel and will hopefully contribute heavily to his development as our franchise QB.
Jimmie Ward is an excellent safety prospect who could have the ability to come in and play right away. I believe he has the tools to become a complete safety and one of the best in the league. His range and ball skills are excellent. If Jarius Byrd proves to be too expensive, I think we let him walk and go with Ward at FS.
yeah, Bengals took him rd 2.2.55 Bengals select Loucheiz Purifoy.
More help for the secondary.
Sorry for the lack of explanations. I'm still very new at evaluating players for real football instead of fantasy.
Ha, you are right. No wonder I didn't see it, go look at the front page the only pick missing on the entire list is 2.55. Goes from 54 to 56 no 55. So understand my confusion.yeah, Bengals took him rd 2.2.55 Bengals select Loucheiz Purifoy.

Waiting on Bob to make the Rams pick. I just PM'd him so hopefully we hear from him soon.My PC is locked up. What's going on?
I'm not trying to pat myself on the back here, but I'd be pretty pleased if the real draft went this way. The first two picks may be possible, but I think Hyde will be gone in the real draft before the third round.I love the Jets picks so far.
