2024 FBG Subscriber Contest (3 Viewers)

I've got an mean of 169.63 through 5, which is above-average thanks mainly to a week 3 max of 214.85. My min is <1 point above the week 5 contest average.

22 of 30 players contributing scores so far this season:
- Samaje Perine, Taysom Hill, and Graham Gano will remain on the non-contributor list this week.
- Noah Brown, Kimani Vidal, Dylan Laube, and Hayden Hurst will all have an outside chance to finally register, and things are looking decent for Isaac Guerendo to finally make an RB or flex contribution this week after posting a 9.9 last night.

This is my no-QB week, so I particularly appreciate Kittle and Guerendo getting the things off to a good start last night. Other than Rashee Rice no guaranteed long-term/season-ending injuries thus far... staying healthy is a big part of the contest... though going with a larger roster size (as I did this year) can help cover that.

So far this year....

165.27 = Average
203.80 = High
133.50 = Low (last week)
Roster size = 26

I may be without as many as 9 or 10 players this week. But I'm off to a good start last night with 42.20 points from Kittle and KW3.

Thinking positive.... :towelwave:

180.34 Avg
205.60 High
159.55 Low

Rooster size 25 (24 now sans Rice)
Also sitting at 42.20 points week 6 with KW3 and Kittle :cool:

Counting every week: Nico (streak ends week 6)
Players yet to count: Marshawn Lloyd and Perine
Lost for szn: Rashee Rice :topcat:

While it feels good, only takes 1 week to sink below the surface. Enjoying the ride while it lasts.

Its a slow Friday, and I was wondering which NFL team has contributed the most points to our contest thus far. I only looked at teams which are still alive, and I looked back at weeks 1 - 5. This only counts a player if their score counted for the given week. What I found was kind of surprising. First, the point differential is larger than I thought it would be. KC was the biggest contributor with 5.6% of points, while NE was almost non-existent at 0.5%.

The top five teams, KC, WAS, SEA, BAL and DET accounted for more points than the bottom 14 teams combined. Detroit appears in the #5 spot despite having had their bye last week. The other three teams on bye last week were LAC (#23), PHI (#30) and TEN (#31). This week we have on bye KC (#1), MIN (#15), MIA (#17), and the LAR (#24).

If the pattern holds, the most impactful game of week on the cutline will be WAS (#2) at BAL (#4). A low scoring game here could mean a low cutline for the week!

I forgot to check my team this past weekend, but luckily survived by about 11 points. I am sweating the Turk every week going forward. He has my number on speed dial each year and I am hoping to survive a few more weeks.
How in the hell do you forget to check? This contest IS the most important thing during the NFL season. At least it was... :kicksrock:
Tell me about it. Probably the first time ever

So 75.20 with a bunch of guys to go after the 9am game.

Going to Bengals/Giants so might not have my 4pm Quizzomatic update but so far so good.

After 1 PM:
106.70 + (Burrow - 39.90) + (Jav Williams/Dowdle/Vidal - 0.00/0.00/1.40/17.50) + (Higgins/Jam Williams/Tucker - 0.00/0.00/6.00/6.60) + (Bowers - 0.00/0.00/25.30) + (Bates - 4.00) + (Chargers/Broncos - 6.00)

Hopeful but work left to do.

As long as your guys didn’t miss the bus from the hotel you’re a lock

Was about 20 above the cut line most of the day but I seem to have stalled and it's creeping up on my, now only 8 above... and Keon Coleman my only SNF/MNF player... *gulp*

Hoping for a strong 2nd half from Vidal, Jameson, Dowdle, Ferguson and/or ATL/LAC defenses...

Unless losivas scores more than 7.80 I'll be in the clubhouse with 178 and safe on to week 7.

Good luck to all those sweating the turk this week..

I think I'm safe at 144, but it was a close call after my top 4 WR were no shows, Nabers (out), Jacobi Meyers (out), Xavier Worthy (Bye), Calvin Ridley (Dead to me). So I was locked to the performance of Greg Dortch and Jameson WIlliams. Which is gross to admit. I'm relieved to be on the other side of this week. Good luck to everyone wrestling with the cutline!

Likely in the clubhouse at 143 (only have Ray Davis -12). I think that should be enough.

Welcome to the party Kimani Vidal and Jake Bates! 24 of my 25 players have now counted as least once.

I'm 7 below with Shakir -10 to go. I think the "let's try one QB with an early bye" gambit will fail. But I also think there's a decent chance I was gonna be out even with 17 from Mahomes this week.

142 going into Sunday night...I have the Jets D left (vs. Buff, but I already have the Steelers D at 7). Could be close, but I should get by to next week. And hopefully Taylor and Singletary are back then.

Looks like I'm done with 169.15. The last couple of weeks, my TEs and RBs have really led the way. Thus far my strategy of cheap but many RBs has really paid off.

Anyways, survive and advance.

152 so presumably on to next week. If Nabers comes back soon I have a chance to survive. My RBs are horrible other than Irving this week.

Should be cruising through at 161.55 and done unless Iosivas tops 13 points. If I can avoid injuries, I won't have more than 2 people off on BYE until week 14 (Denver players). Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...

I may get bit by exact same strategy... though the $ I might have spent on a 2nd QB could have also eliminated me in a prior week by having less darts (and 1 less K) available who wound up scoring for me. I had 3 guys show up for the first time this week (Vidal, Guerendo, Noah Brown) but unless Keon Coleman has a big game (-8, so talking 20-25+) I'll be out.

Worth using your one time chip on a monster performance by Coleman. Stranger things have happened

At 127 with just Kincaid remaining (Ferguson at 5.6 is my current scoring TE).

Gonna be sweating it. Only 12 above the current cut line.
