2025 Year-end Song Draft - We've Started, join in and pick a song or twenty four (3 Viewers)

We focus a lot on new songs in thread, but I still like albums. Question for the masses as I listen to the playlist:

Do your picks represent favorite albums as well, or more just individual songs you like?
What are people's top 5-10 albums? (If you listen that way?)
I am much more a song/playlist listener at this point but my 7 albums would be

Headlights by Alex G

The Passionate Ones by Nourished by Time

Racing Mount Plesant

Hunting Season by Home is Where

NEVER ENOUGH by Turnstile

BeBi TiRAR MaS FOTos by Bad Bunny

LUX by ROSALIA
Going to listen to this Rosalia album this weekend.

I still can pick 5, so I am going to chill tonight and finish listening to a handful of albums I got from a podcast that don't have something added on the playlist yet.
It's the one I listen to the least but it's pretty undeniable.

ditkaburgers earned a few more points on Santa's nice list by sending Mrs. Eephus and I out tonight to see The Cure's new concert movie. I didn't even know it was a thing but it's apparently a limited theatrical engagement. It's also 2 hours 47 minutes so I may need to pack a spare edible.

The Cure movie was pretty good. They're not a particularly dynamic live act and their stage show is modest by modern standards but the film was visually interesting without the over-editing which often ruins full length concert movies. They started with their most recent album front to back followed by a generous helping of their best known songs. I'm glad we got to see it in the theater.

It’s playing by me on Sunday. What was the audience like? I’ve never been to a movie concert before.

Some people in the audience acted like they were at a show and applauded at the end of songs (I didn't because the band couldn't hear us). There was one woman(?) behind us with a weird munchkin/troll voice who sang along to "In Between Days". Fortunately she didn't seem to know the words to their other songs. My biggest gripe was I thought the volume should have been louder :headbang: .
