This is where we ask questions and offer help.

Thank you to all the posters who come here to offer that help.

A couple notes:

I attempt to give well considered responses to all questions posted. I can't get to everything, but I'll try.

1) This only works if people participate. If you ask for help it is good form to offer help to someone else.

2) Please post the matchup. e.g. Cousins vs Den or James Cook @ Mia

3) Please post important league scoring considerations (e.g. PPR, super-flex etc).

4) Please go easy on the nicknames, save that for other threads. We can't help if we don't know who you are talking about.

View this as an exercise to help focus your thoughts about teams in general. Players you own may not be involved in these WDIS questions but certainly you will own players on many of these teams. Analyzing other players will help you identify things you may have otherwise not considered.

(Joe Edit: When you ask, please let us know which way you're leaning. And more importantly, why. What do you see as the pros and cons. Most people will be much more likely to help if they feel like you've put in a little work on this as well.)

Old school redraft with no PPR (just TD's and yards). Henry on a bye, so I need to start two of the following....

N Harris vs CLE
Warren vs CLE
Swift @ SF
Edwards @ KC
Vidal @ KC

Thinking of playing it safe and just starting both PIT backs, with the way that offense is firing on all cylinders. With no PPR, it just feels like I need to cover my bases and ensure that I start the one that is going to score in that game (which could be either one). Would probably pick one of the two and go with Swift if I liked his matchup more. And the LAC backs don't do much for me at this point. Am I overthinking or playing it too safe by considering the "safe" play here?

Edit: The other way of looking at this is that TD's matter more with no PPR. Swift has as many TD's this year (5) as Harris (4) and Warren (1) combined. So, I suppose the obvious answer might be just start Harris and Swift.

You have great choices and no clear winner in either WR or TE. Classic flip a coin and hope for the best. I'd probably go JSN and McBride (Crazy number of targets). Even with no PPR I think any combination of these are reasonable

I guess Purdy since he *should* be in the better functioning offense with more weapons than Carr..

Tua has the hot hand but is going against the Jets Pass D, which is the only thing the team has going for it right now. Slight edge to Darnold.

I lean towards Swift because of volume but part of me wonders if Cousins will put up a monster back in Minnesota.

Unfortunately he's been so mid against anyone but the Bucs it's difficult to get excited for his prospects.

MVS has been crazy efficient over the last three games but... I can't bank on that holding up even with a great matchup.

Cousins has been great for you three times in twelve games. But he has a good matchup and maybe he musters a monster in his return to Minnesota.

Young is at Phili, he simply isn't an option, IMO, against one of the best pass defenses in the NFL.

I like JSN and all but Tyreek has been pretty good since Tua came back and, personally I'm not having him on my bench when he blows up.

And McBride for me every week without question. Even with, shockingly, zero TDs on the season he's been an absolute monster.

He missed practice with what they're calling a Quad issue. Hopefully we see him tomorrow.

I still probably lean towards Kyler. His combination of passing, rushing and matchup seems to be the sweet spot between your options.

I lean towards Harris and Swift in a non-ppr format for the reasons you stated.

A lot depends on Smith's health but even healthy it's fair to wonder if the Eagles will end up needing to distribute the ball much this week.

I guess I would go with Pacheco because even if Allen is the lead I don't know how good he is or how involved he will be the way the Jets offense seems to work.

I'd go with Carr and the matchup. I might pivot to Purdy if Trent Williams and Aaron Banks are back but, even then I wonder if the Niners have any more tricks in their bag.

1) Mike Evans now v LVR now apparently nursing a "minor" calf injury

or

2) CeeDee v CIN nursing a legit shoulder injury and is Questionable Monday. I don't have an option if he is a late scratch.

Not that it matters but if I play Reed it would mean I have Goff, Jahmyr, Montgomery & Love all going tomorrow night.

Comes down to JSN & Nabers for me.

I start Reed for sure with Doubs out again. And Tyreek has been good with Tua back and I can't bench him particularly with Sauce limited.

I want to say bench Nabers but his target floor is so tantalizing. And the matchup is somewhat better.

Even with such a marginal QB throwing the ball and a more than disappointing yardage totals I think I start him over JSN in a PPR format.

If your guy says Jennings then listen. I can definitely see the argument in favor. I would monitor the status of Trent Williams and Aaron Banks. If Williams doesn't play I would pivot to Kupp over McConkey. Much higher target floor, he's still play great and he's still a crutch for Stafford.
