2024 FBG Subscriber Contest (3 Viewers)

I am opening up my contest companion app for 2024, with a new feature this year:


I built this app with the purpose of showing your contest team with an overview of your entire season's stats on one handy page. Hit the link above, follow the instructions to get your team ID, and load your team into the app. Once you've done that once, just bookmark the page with your team on it, and you won't have to repeat that process.

This year we also have.. live scoring?! There was some mentions of @Ignoratio Elenchi having offered it in the past, which got me thinking how I would implement such a thing. And once those thoughts are in my head.. I can't resist doing it.

Today's very much a testing type of deal, so, try it out and let me know how it's working. Right now it updates every five minutes. No live cutline (for now).

After a dud week 1 performance, he put in another one on Thursday. You could excuse it due to game script, but he went from a 84% snap count in week 1 down to 42% against the Bengals?! That is the lowest snap count of his career. I will need a 20+ point game in week 3, or a stiff drink since he was the only 100% locked and loaded selection of my entire lineup.

I'm similarly worried about Nabers and Ridley. I thought concerns about their poor quarterback play was overblown. After week 1, I'm afraid everyone was right. I'm looking for Nabers to cook the Washington defense. If I get duds in week 2, my faith in these players is going to devolve into hope.

What players are you looking for a strong performance from to restore your pre-season faith?

First of all, you rule! Thanx a million. I did notice your scoring gives a full point per reception for RB's, but they are only half a point.

Edit - I think it may be giving RB's 1.5 per reception. I have Justice Hill, who totaled 27 yards and had 2 catches. It's giving him 5.7 instead of 3.7

Confirmed. Conner has 5.4 points to my calculations and the offsite calc has 6.4.

Yes, and giving 20.6 versus 19.6 points for Dobbins with 13.1/1 rushing and 1/0/0 receiving (apparently 1.5 points given for 1 reception)

I'm safely onward too but at some point this season I'll probably need Mahomes to actually show up. So far I feel like rostering Vidal instead of Dobbins is my biggest "miss" right now, but the rationale for that decision is whether Dobbins holds up for a season. I don't wish an injury on anyone, just saying that's still a "wait and see"... happy to see Dobbins performing up to his potential though after some rough years.
 
Though I am definitely might rue holding steady with my rooster for the $100 and not swapping in Nabers and Iosivas for Higgns and Dortch...would have 12.20 more points if I did.

Considering I got negative points from my TE2 with Ferg out, I’m surprised I’m comfortably above the cut line.

Bug reports:
In week 1, official scoring has LAC D with 10 points, but your app has them at 4.
In week 2, the MFL league I have that uses contest scoring has Mahomes with 20.45, Dowdle with 7.90, and GB D with 7. The app has Mahomes with 26.45, Dowdle with 11.90, and GB D with 5.

I ran a "calcomatic" for a few years as well for the contest... your site looks really good!

No cut line posted yet after the 4pm games. But I don't think it will go up by a huge amount from the 1pm cut line.

I was comfortable at 171.45 after the 1pm games, and most of my players already played. I'm sitting on 176.65 now, with only (Rome Odunze -18.5) who is surprising ly active in the 8 pm game, but has not seen anything thrown to him yet, and the (Atlanta Defense -7) left on Monday night. So I'm basically already done scoring for htis week. It would take something crazy for either of those last two players to add anything to my score.

WR Brian Thomas Jr. - $1311.40
WR Khalil Shakir - $1010.6

Not counting Rice, who I’m sure everyone has, I appear to be the only team with this combo.

In at 128.95, low week but missing some key guys. Should be good to move on. God luck to those sweating it out.
 
I'm at 131.85 with Bijan (-5.3) and Falcons D (-4), so I think I'm clear, especially with AJ Brown out. Nabers and Kittle came up big for me with KWIII and Engram out, but I need those two back soon, can't have $40 in dead weight for very long. Also not thrilled with Javonte Williams or Courtland Sutton so far, maybe in retrospect wasn't the best idea to invest in that offense with a rookie QB. They just seemed very reasonably priced, and I thought Sutton would be a PPR hog with Jeudy gone.

I also went with 4 TEs, (Engram, Kittle, Hill, Parkinson), planning to use TE scores at the flex and cash in on the 1.5 PPR scoring, and I'm glad I did with Engram out. But I'm definitely worried about Hill. New Orleans scored a ton of points the first two weeks and still didn't yield a big game for Hill. Now he's hurt, but it seems like this new offense might have him on the field more, but get him the ball less...

I'm probably not going anywhere this year, but at the moment, I'm feeling good that I spend my last $3 on a 3rd kicker this season.
Gano has a hamstring injury and put up a donut yesterday. Who knows how long it might hold him out. When bye weeks approach, you can't afford to have a kicker hurt if there are only 2 on your roster.

Yeah, I f'd up with 3 defenses instead of 3 kickers... also must have been drinking when I picked my RBs... losing KWIII is hurting, as my other guys are Javonte, Swift, and Wright. :x

WRs are the star right now with locking up KC and PHI receiving tandems. Losing Gano has me down to one kicker... so I hope he comes back soon or I am taking a big ole 0 when Dicker is out.
 
For CMC owners, its now a contest within a contest. Who is able to make it to week 6. And even then, its a TNF game at Seattle. My guess is he's not back until after the bye week.
