US needs to start fouling if the ref is going to call it this way and let a lot of fouls go.
yes, he started a couple of games. No his game has not fallen off a ton but he is getting older and some younger players were preferred by GGG this summer.Zimmerman started in the last WC right? Has his play fallen off that much?
They're playing pretty well though!I assume the US will put up a nil yet again.

Yep. I'd sign up for anotherNo complaints from me.
US was good on the ball, organized defensively, created a couple of chances, and crowd is mostly dead, giving the French players no extra juice.
I think he was thinking Pax was going to send it upper right corner far post. I love that he went low near post instead... Forcing a sneakily good save from the GK.That kick save seemed really weird to me -- why didn't the French keeper go down to get it?
oh yes, I agree. This level of quality against New Zealand and Guinea should give them a good chance to advance.Yep. I'd sign up for anotherNo complaints from me.

yeah, Howard correctly pointed out he got rooted. Had Aaronson dragged that one more foot to the left, I don't think the keeper could have saved it.I think he was thinking Pax was going to send it upper right corner far post. To me, that was the best chance of the half for either team.
Good half from Busio and Tessman and sounds like good team shape overall to limit those French horses.
And Paxs attempt was the closest either team got to scoring. Not like the US is sitting in a low block and afraid to move forward. I think this comment is more about ongoing angst about the USs Copa performance..I assume the US will put up a nil yet again.
The goal today is not a result, it is to keep the tournament favorite from a blow out. 0-0 is about the best we could expect at half.
He has looked very good this half. Haven't seen him play in awhile so was interested in watching him as what I read out of Venezia was he was doing really well and was a key to their promotion.Tessman's short passing under pressure was very good in that half. He made a handful of short passes that got the US out of a press and launched them into an attacking posture.
they played a good first half on both sides of the ball.Just tuning in. Pleasantly surprised to see a 0-0 score![]()
you can see what the team and coach must think of him as well giving him the arm band when there are other more experienced players in the line up.He has looked very good this half. oh my god. I thought that was in. Keeper was dead. What a strike by Milhailovic
damn it. Finishing is the clear difference in the game.
Have you been watching any other youth teams? It's pretty common at this point. Check out the u20s next game vs CRHaven’t seen any of this team ever, but love their first touch and knowing what to do with the ball before they get it. Not a quality the US has had before. Very technical
I thought he could have done better on the first goal but the second goal (especially with the deflection) beats almost every keeper in the world.damn it. Finishing is the clear difference in the game.
And maybe goalkeeping? I though Schulte looked bad on the France goal whereas the French GK has had some good saves.
Would've liked to see him get that first one... But wouldve been a big save. 2d one was unstoppable. Thought he's looked good otherwise... But yeah- has to make big savesdamn it. Finishing is the clear difference in the game.

I have not, but thank you for the heads up. Really nice to us playing like thatHave you been watching any other youth teams? It's pretty common at this point. And according to Pre, the US team is missing most of its top players.I have not, but thank you for the heads up. Really nice to us playing like thatHave you been watching any other youth teams? Aren't you a fan of the Orlando Magic? Do you really struggle when their G league affiliate loses?I mean this in all seriousness, god bless you guys who live and die with this team because I don’t know how you do it.
