Do you also not adjust her seat or temp controls or change the radio station? What the hell

Speaking of this... one of my current kid-related peeves is them changing the station in MY car when I'm shuttling them around. I don't want to fuss at them too much (I already feel like I do too much) but after them flipping from station to station, I end up saying "YO IT'S MY CAR!" and put it on country.

My pet peeve is rentals that don't easily connect to my phone. Who tf cares what radio station is on, my car has never used a radio station ever. Idk if it even has radio.

One of my best travel-related purchases has been SiriusXM. I do a lot of driving when I'm traveling for business, and who the heck wants to Google what the local ESPN affiliate is? Not me. I plug my phone in and fire up SXM. (edit - there have been times when the USB connection in my rental gives out mid-trip... what a pain in the a$$)

But when I'm driving my own rig locally, I usually just listen to the local country channel. Sometimes classical if it's been a stressful day. But my kids will switch back and forth between the "pop" channels, which drives me nuts. Holy hell I would have never done that driving around with my parents.

Have you ever worn the Nike basketball socks? They adjust where the cushioning is so yes there is in fact a difference.

Yea, I have a couple pair of socks that are foot specific and they are glorious

It's terrible that the dryer only likes the right socks so all you have is what's left

we do pretty well with compromising.

mrs and i fly out tomorrow to help our daughter move out of her dorm. i will be driving back with her in her car sat/sun. she is a swiftie

I usually respond and reach out to people in anywhere from 15-30 minutes both by phone and electronically.

Wish I dealt with people like you more often, fine sir. I fill out forms and **** and get ghosted far too often. WTF people - I am reaching out because I want to give you my money

Had one of these peeps finally get back to me today. I sent a last gasp, Hail Mary email at the 10-day mark and finally heard back after 4 emails and 3 voicemail messages. Loved the response: "Sorry I missed your communication last week. I was tied up with some personal errands." I can't imagine how many errands that would be if it took 10 days to do them all. Had to be a lot.

I've got one of these currently going on, I'm on Day 7 of no response.

I called the person, explained why I'm calling, asking for assistance about X. They tell me to send an email to this inbox and someone will respond within 24 hours. I sent the email 10 minutes later. They wait 3 days to respond, and tell me that my request is pretty specific and technical so they need to elevate me to XYZ team, similar to when you put in an IT ticket I guess. 4 more days go by, still no response. I call them again and ask status. "Oh yeah we have your ticket, someone will get with you".

WELL WHEN THE HECK IS THAT GOING TO HAPPEN?!?!?!?!?!

It shouldn’t bother me because after all, we are in a barbershop and there are people talking but it’s still annoying.

He’s currently in the chair ahead of me complaining about….everything.

I need to pay more attention when I am driving. I cant believe how many tolls i have racked up. I really appreciate "Frank" keeping me out of jail though.
