Assuming those teams don't trade to 2 or 3. I don't know that Buffalo will need a QB at 4.
All the more reason to draft your wide receivers. Some of this stupid money being thrown around for half assed WRs and people complain about Landry,![]()
Much rather have Landry at 15 million a year over a guy like Ryan Grant for 8 million a year. I guess we could have two half assed WRs for the price of Landry.
Well, pretend we drafted Landry 4 years ago. This is his 2nd contract. All the more reason to draft your wide receivers.
Pretend we drafted ANY WR in the last decade aside from Josh Gordan.Well, pretend we drafted Landry 4 years ago. This is his 2nd contract.
I cant figure out what you are trying to say herePretend we drafted ANY WR in the last decade aside from Josh Gordan.
We should collectively punch Ray Farmer in the face.
"I would say 'how important are those guys?'" Farmer told WKRK-FM in Cleveland, per The Plain Dealer. "Name the last big-time receiver to win a Super Bowl. Name the last mega-guy. (Gordon) matters to me because I like the guy and I think he's a really good player, but at the end of the day, when you look at the teams that have these mega-receivers, name the last guy that won a Super Bowl?... There are none. The last guy that really helped his team get there was T.O. (Terrell Owens)."
Just need to see the offer. I cant say without knowing the offerNot in Camp Trade Down, at all.
We can walk away w any combo of saquon, Mayfield/darnold, chubb.
You do it. You just do it.
QB + trade down, my guess. With Buffalo for 12, a 2nd, and 2019 1stmy guess is Darnold + trade down
More lamenting our ignoring the position for forever. You mentioned Landry is on his 2nd contract, I’m assuming we passed on him at some point.I cant figure out what you are trying to say here

#justsaynotothetradedownSo if we draft a QB at 1, and then Barkley and Chubb go 2-3, then.........................More lamenting our ignoring the position for forever. You mentioned Landry is on his 2nd contract, I’m assuming we passed on him at some point.

And your running backs. All the more reason to draft your wide receivers.
And everything else. And your running backs.
Pick value calculator says the 12th and 2nd are more than enough. The only way that additional first is coming is if a team's top prospect is on the board and they think they are getting 1.1 talent. For all the reasons people are saying Cleveland has to go QB at 1.1, you don't give up the farm for whoever's leftover.QB + trade down, my guess. With Buffalo for 12, a 2nd, and 2019 1st
That could be of some interest.15, 47, 2019 1st from the Cards..............there we go![]()
12 and a 2nd?? No, that doesnt ad up to 4. And even if it did, no way. Pick 12 and a pick in the 50s to move up to 4?Pick value calculator says the 12th and 2nd are more than enough. The other issue is that there are 5 round one QBs. That's a pretty high number, especially when there isn't a standout. If the Browns are smart they add two franchise players right now.
What if Rosen is the highest on the Browns board? So if we draft a QB at 1, and then Barkley and Chubb go 2-3, then.........................
And if we dont take QB at 1, and mayfield and darnold go 2-3, then.....................are we gonna take Barkely and Chubb and not draft a QB?? Thats a fine play if we signed Cousins.
The first scenario is golden for a trade down. What if Rosen is the highest on the Browns board?
In you're first scenario, you're f-ed, which is probably a good reason to trade up with the Colts right now.
33, 35, and 64 add up to around 8No QB at 1 and 4...use 33 and 35 to move back in. What do those picks add up to on the abacus?
If Rosen is the highest on their board then they should draft Rosen at 1What if Rosen is the highest on the Browns board?

Pick 13 to 14 range. No QB at 1 and 4...use 33 and 35 to move back in. What do those picks add up to on the abacus?
Actually it's not because there a 2-3 QBs left. The first scenario is golden for a trade down. What if Rosen is the highest on the Browns board?

Your right. But the 2019 1st swings it hard the other direction.12 and a 2nd?? No, that doesnt ad up to 4. And even if it did, no way. Pick 12 and a pick in the 50s to move up to 4?
Right, cause every GM views them all the same. I forgotActually it's not because there a 2-3 QBs left.
Yup, especially when QB's are concerned.12 and a 2nd?? No, that doesnt ad up to 4. And even if it did, no way. Pick 12 and a pick in the 50s to move up to 4?
No. Only guaranteed salary or remaining signing bonus allocation is dead money. Thomas has neither. So if Joe retires, his entire 13 million would be added to our cap space right?
Cap space......not cap hit.No. Only guaranteed salary or remaining signing bonus allocation is dead money. Thomas has neither.
My bad. Yes, the Salary Cap is calculated by the top 51 guys on the roster. Once he files papers his salary is no longer included in the calculations.Cap space......not cap hit.
Bittersweet if it helps get us Solder. My bad. Yes, the cap space is calculated by the top 51 guys on the roster. Once he files papers it's reduced.

Trade calculator doesn't mean much in the wonderful world of quarterbacks. If one is there the Bills covet then talks start at two one's.Pick value calculator says the 12th and 2nd are more than enough. You mean with the pick we acquired in a.......trade down?Just don't move down.
We need studs. There are studs available. Take the studs.
####### Miami traded Landry and then signed Albert Wilson and Danny Amendola for nearly the money Landry would have cost them. Some of this stupid money being thrown around for half assed WRs and people complain about Landry,![]()

If true then pick Chubb at 1 and you at least have your pick of the top qbs -1. Thats a solid roster and a cheap defense for a few years and certainly something to build on and good for a young qb.Carlos Hyde to sign with Cleveland !
AwfulIf true then pick Chubb at 1 and you at least have your pick of the top qbs -1. Thats a solid roster and a cheap defense for a few years and certainly something to build on and good for a young qb.
can you expand on that? Awful for chubb or a qb?Awful
Been explained 100 times already why if u plan to draft a QB at 4 the whole staff should be fired.can you expand on that? Awful for chubb or a qb?
Chubb is an absolute animal. IMO he helps far more than Barkley.
Uh, yeah, no. You get one of the top players in the draft in chubb.Been explained 100 times already why if u plan to draft a QB at 4 the whole staff should be fired.
Agreed. The Browns are definitely a team on the rise.Browns are doing good work this offseason. I’m not a huge Tyrod Taylor fan but even with him starting I see a second place finish in the North.
